About the album

Whose House? is the debut album from The Ministry of D: ten songs about the people who show up. Built on heavy-metal roots, 1980s arena-rock guitars and a heavy dose of Texas football, it runs from a small-town Friday night to a drive across the whole state.

It opens with the walk-out and ends in the parking lot at the final goodnight. In between: a road trip home, the summer of '87, a landman's life, two lovers who each get their turn as the star, the clock running out in the fourth quarter, a stomp-and-clap anthem with cowbell, a hard-rocking drive from Texarkana to the Palace, and a closer that thanks the fans for being the team.
